UMPIRE FAQ'S

1. My child is interested in becoming an Umpire.?

Kids who are 11U age and higher are eligible to become Umpires. We host a 1 day course with training provided by the BC Baseball Umpires Association (BCBUA). This course takes place in early to mid-March and is no charge for members of Aldergrove Minor Baseball Association.

2. What equipment does my child require for Umpiring?

Each Junior Umpire will require a ball bag, indicator and plate brush after their Level 1 training is completed. Each Umpire is required to follow the Umpire Dress Code.

3. Game Scheduling?

The Umpire coordinator will add you to our assignor app and all scheduling will be completed through this. Any questions please email amba.blue@gmail.com
